If you are experiencing acne redness and would like to learn how to reduce the redness of pimples fast, then read this collection of favorite home remedies and tips:

1. Avoid the urge to pick, pop or squeeze a pimple. This could cause the spread of bacteria and you could end up with a permanent scar.

2. To reduce the redness of a pimple, apply ice to the area every half hour. You should hold the ice on the affected area for about 2 minutes. The ice will reduce the swelling and can help with any pain you might be experiencing. Now use a makeup concealer with a tint of green to remove redness and hide the pimple.

3. Apply a mixture of crushed aspirin and water to the affected area.

4. Apply a drop or two of Visine eye drops to the pimple.

5. If you're in need of a quick fix, applying a bit of toothpaste to the affected area right before bed can help soothe pain and reduce redness.

Before and After photos are available at the given ebay site.

This person is providing 1-3 week trial samples (Only for ONE DOLLAR.. definitely a deal) on ebay at:

It's expensive, but the product DOES work.

My sister and cousin who both have major acne have tried the product and they both give it thumbs up. I have also heard many great feedbacks about this cream.

I don't have a problem with acne, but it seems to have great results on my sister who has moderate to severe acne. Her acne swelling went away overnight.

I hope this helps. =)

What is a good acne treatment?

Ever since I stopped my birth control pills (i ran out) My face has become oily and started to break out during my periods and when I stress. The big time areas are my forehead, and my chin. It's a combination of under the skin/on top of the skin pimples and blackheads.

What would be a good face wash to start using? Something I dont have to order. What is a good acne treatment?
I use Clearasil and then instead of using lotion on my face afterwards, I use vitamin E oil. You just apply it with a cotton pad (dont press too hard and dont use cotton balls....it leaves cotton on your face) and you can use a new one to remove excess. It not only works good as a replacement for lotion but helps with scarring too. I was told to try this and my acne issues have went down dramatically. Vitamin E oil is great and I would recommend also taking a vitamin E pill daily. What is a good acne treatment?
How to cure a pimple

1. Wash you skin thoroughly and pat it dry with clean towel.

2. Wrap an ice cube in a washcloth and hold it over the spot for a minute or two; it'll help bring down the swelling.

3. Dip the end of a cotton swab into some diluted tea tree oil (available at any pharmacy, and trust me, this oil was meant for the skin!) and dot a tiny amount directly into the pimple.

4. Leave it alone to heal. Don't pop, pinch, or squeeze pimples, it will only make it worse.

Also, you can dab a bit of toothpaste, alcohol, or vinegar to pimple before going to bed each night. When you wake up the pimple will be gone. This is because toothpaste, alcohol, and vinegar will dry the oil out of pimples.

This works SOOOO well! I'm not kidding, and you got to try it!

And, tomato juice does work... you cut the tomato into slices and use it like a cleansing pad; rub it around your face and on pimples and pat dry with towel. And oh yeah, lemon juice works really well too. Just dab a bit on pimples and skin and pat dry.
I am using the IQ derma acne clear remedy system I have suffered form acne all my life and so far this stuff is working.I even have it on a free trial so effectively it is free to try but I am definately gonna carry on with the course.

You should go to the doctors, I went and they gave me some acne lotion, it worked until they gave me a weaker one, then they came back. Now I use Woosh by Benefit, (a face wash) and Ka-pow! (an acne medication night cream. first it made me breakout, but about 3 days later they started to disappear.
Try this simple remedy. Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the pimples like soap. The secret of keeping the skin clear is to keep it oil-free and clean. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/
I use glycerin soap. I open my pores first with steam (hot shower). I also use a clay mask once a week. When I get a breakout, I use lemon juice to kill the bacteria that cause acne.
WARNING! Don't Even Think About Buying Another Acne Product Until You Read This...

Acne Free In 3 Days.

try purpose gentle cleansing wash.

you can get it anywhere.. its in a clear bottle w/a blue label
My skincare routine:

Cleanser: Basis....this is just a bar of soap that matches your pH level of your skin....so it wont dry out your face(if you don't use moisturizer though it will) This cleanser seems simple and it is not meant to fight acne...but in a sense it does...it really cleans your face well without drying out your face...i didnt believe my mom when she recomended it...but man does it work wonders

Toner: Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner...really any toner you prefer is ok...but this it the one i use. Start from the top of your face and go towards the temples...aslo with cheeks...go towards the temples...then on chin go in circular motions only(not making it up...this is what you are supposed to do whenever applying anything to your face) This will take off the dead skin and make your pores smaller(helps with the dirt getting in) It also leaves face really smooth and nice looking!!!!

Moisturizer : Sheer Cover Oil Free Moisturizer...again any moisturizer will be good...just as long as it is oil free, made for the face, does not have any acne fighting agents in it. Dot it all over face then apply just like i said with the toner. Moisturizing can really halp fighting the acne. Did you know that dry skin is actually a cause for acne and pimples? The dry skin will actually clog your pores and therefore cause a breakout. Dont listen to people saying you just need to dry your face out...its a lie.

Facial scrub: Oatmeal and Sugar....seriously...this is the BEST scrub i have ever had....just take oatmeal and grind it into a powder and the add Sugar( more Sugar if you want more of a scrub...less if you just want something soothing) then add a little water and make like a paste( not too thick and not too thin) Rub on your face for like 3 minutes then rinse with warm water...put moisturizer on right afterward and your face will feel so refreshed and soft!!!!! Do it about once a week. Dont rub too hard or you will damage face. The oatmeal is for sootheing for face of redness and dry skin. The sugar is for exfoliation.

Steam your face for about 5 to 10 minutes a week. Mousturize right after you steam. This will open your pores and get all the dirt and grim out. It also helps with dryness. Dont steam and use the scrub on the same day. It is best to use it on seperate days. Dont ask me why...just figured it out. =)

I suffer a little more from dry skin...but yet it can get oily at times...but with this routine has been great....and now i don't have a single blemish or patch of dry skin!!!!! It is amazing!!!!! Do this routine( excluding the scrub and steam) twice a day. Your skin will clear up...but in about a week or two your face will break out and that is a good sigh. This is because all of the dirt is getting out of your skin. Just keep with it and it will pay off in the long run...i have great skin right now(used to have horrible skin...i could have seriously been on one of those acne comercials it was so bad)...but now i have stuck with this routine and my skin is now soft and smooth!!!!!!!

Tips:

Vitamin E(taking it and also rubing on face) is really good for your skin

Olive oil is also good(rubbing on face...wamred...rinsed with warm water

Taking fish oil is also good

Try not to touch your face....it pushes the dirt into your face

There are a lot of good products out there, but keep in mind the whole idea is to dry up the pimple. Many products use acids for this purpose so they will dry out other areas around the pimple. Use a product that contains natural ingredients. What is the best acne treatment for sensitive skin?

Does anyone know of a good treatment for acne scars?

I've struggled with acne all of my life and I'm 27 now. I just wanted to know if anyone knew of any good treatments or creams to make acne scars less visible.Does anyone know of a good treatment for acne scars?
i dunno what mine is called but go to your doctor and ask them tell them about your acne and how it is what happens with it and they will give you the best cream for your acne that they have.

I did and my acne is fixing up so well that it's disappearing

however creams do have side effects for some people by this i mean that once your acne is gone it will mostly come back after a few months and you should go through the same process that you did in the beginning.

i do thisDoes anyone know of a good treatment for acne scars?
Using a half apple cider vinegar, half water solution as a toner twice a day has worked very well for me. You apply the ACV, leave it on for about ten minutes, then rinse it off. It kind of smells like salad dressing, but after a few months there should be significant improvement in discoloration and even texture. The best thing about it is it's very cheap. Good luck.
I am suffering from the same problem. I have been trying something new since the beginning of this week. You should squeeze the juice of a fresh lemon, soak it in a cotton ball and rub the cotton ball across your face, or just where the acne is. It will help clear up any acne that you do have, along with lightening the marks from the previous. Be patient it will sting and will be required to do every day for a few weeks. I have been doing this for the past three days and it seems to be making a difference. I think I will give it a month tops. I also use Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleanser and Moisturizer along with the lemon. First, I cleanse with the cleanser, in a sense 'tone' with the lemons (leave on for 10-15 min. and the rinse off with cold water) and then moisturize. Make sure you use a moisturizer with an SPF because lemon makes your skin photosensitive. Also, I recommend the Positively Radiant line of Aveeno because it is meant to even out skin tone and texture within four weeks. That may help during and along your treatment with lemons.
Laser Resurfacing treatment seems good. You can find the details at the following website.

    Hope that helps.

I wish I knew the answer to this as well. I had cistic acne on my back before taking Accutane. It left my back really bad, now 8 years later the scars are starting to fade a bit, but some still remain.
scar treatment stuff, u kno, the stuff that makes normal scars go away
    um ask a dermatologist

Which acne treatment works best for pimples and oily skin?

Get a rag and put it in the hottest water your face can possibly stand. Wash your face with a mild soap, and then put the rag on there and steam your face with it. Do this several times and let it sit on your face. This will open your pores. Rinse face and repeat.

Also, pro active works well. There are off brand versions of it that are the exact same thing and work well too.

Stay away from anything that is alcoholic. It dries out your skin and causes it to produce even more oil.Which acne treatment works best for pimples and oily skin?
It's going to be hard to say. Alot of people have had success with Proactiv. I have not. I have oily skin and the only thing i can do to keep my face from breaking out is put a good layer of clearasil vanishing cream all over when i go to bed. First I wash it using Philosophy brand face cleanser called ';On A Clear Day'; then i put on the Clearasil. It has 10% benzoil peroxide. It dries it out pretty good so when I wake up I wash my face and usePhilosophy brand lotion to replenish the heck out of it. I've had acne my whole life. So far these steps have kept it in check.

You'll have to try different things. It took me a long time to find just the right thing. Not everything works for everybody.

Trial and error my friend. Good luck.Which acne treatment works best for pimples and oily skin?
Do not put hot water on your face or go out in the sun without a hat. Sun rays are damaging and irritating. Hot water and sun will make you get large red spider veins that are permanent without laser or other therapies. Hot water will also make your skin react by putting out more oil. Wash your face with a mild cleanser the milder the better I use diluted shampoo. That way your skin won't over compensate and put out more oil to replace what you stripped off. Clearasil daily face wash is medium in mildness and can be used for very oily skin, but dilute it. Afterwards use an astingent. I make my own by diuting Witch Hazel with about a third water and a few drops of tea tree oil. Add a few drops of a mild low fragrenced cream rinse as a emolient to help keep the tea tree oil mixed up. After this use a benzoyl peroxide cream like oxy 10. Most stores have a generic check the ingredients and get 10 percent benzoyl peroxide. Apply the oxy 10 to zits and areas of problem up to 3 times a day if there is one swelling up. Don't forget a mild oil free moisturizer so you skin doesn't need to try and replace with its own oils. And then apply an oil free sunscreen.

Don't pick your face or squeeze. If there is a white head use a needle that has beeen cleaned with alcohol and prick the side of the white head and then use the side of the pin or an black head extractor to get the pus out. Then disinfect the area with pure witch hazel and apply more oxy 10. To remove black heads only use a comedone blackhead extractor after you have taken a shower or bath so pores are open. Squeezing causes spreading and picking causes longer healing times and scaring that is permanent. Dr.'s can prescribe antibiotic lotions that may help a little but if you have bad acne you should get on accutane it can cure it.

Good Luck and don't pick or you will be sorry

I use Arbonne. It's an acne system kinda like proactiv but it also has vitamin pills to go along with it. It works great for me. But not every acne medicine works for every person. You just have to find what works for you. Here's the site to check out if you want.

I tried ';proactive'; and it worked for me. But I have heard from others that it didn't work. You may have to try a few different things to find the one that works for you. (all our skin is different) You could try to go to a dermatologist, that's what they are experts on. I'm sure they have many different products to help you clear up your skin! Good Luck!
I discovered acne.org last year...the website describes a regimen and the steps it takes to achieve clear skin. I had HOOOOORRRRIIBBLE acne last year. I followed the suggestions on acne.org, and my skin is really clear now. Works better than anything I've tried, and I've spent thousands on skin products. It's worth checking it out, trust me. No, I am not a sales person ;P
    proactiv worked for me
Stop drinking milk. There is hormones in the milk that causes pimples. You need calcum though, so take suppliments. I used to get a few here and there every week and then i stopped drinking milk. But I catch myself having a glass every so often and i'll get a pimple the very next day. So that has worked best for me. Also you need to put lotion on your face after you get out of the shower to protect your pores and keep your face clean.
    Proactiv hands down. For real.
The chemicals in the SOAP you are using is probably making your condition WORSE…. (read on)

First STOP using commercial skin care! GO ORGANIC or ALL NATURAL. I had rosacea (red blemishes on the cheeks) until I started using TEA TREE OIL organic soap from: www.SANDYCREEKSOAP.etsy.com ($2.50 a bar). It cleared it up in like a week.... and this was something I battled with for YEARS!!!! You can tell the difference right away (like the first time). It doesn’t even feel like soap. I can’t explain it, it just FEELS good. It works on SO MANY things because it is a NATURAL antifungal, antiseptic : acne, rosacea, psoriasis, rashes, poison ivy, oak and sumac, dandruff, fungal conditions, etc. Just Google TEA TREE OIL to find out its MANY benefits, then get the bar or liquid and start using it. They are very helpful with skin problem questions, they will even design a bar for your skin type based on your skin conditions - now that’s not something you find everyday.... They only charged me like $5 bucks a bar for the custom.

You want/need HANDMADE or hand-milled soap made the old fashion way. If not them, then “someone” else who sells handmade organic. Their soaps has GLYCERIN in them (a natural moisture retainer). In STORE bought soap glycerin is sold for profit and replaced with a chemical called sodium lauryl sulfate to add lather which is listed in the encyclopedia as a skin IRRITANT. I know, I couldn’t believe it either, but look it up! This chemical is found in 98% of ALL STORE bought soaps. SCARY, HU? READ THE BACK! (Even the ones claiming to be natural or clean). BUT (and I’m not trying to sell you on them) the soaps at SANDY CREEK SOAP COMPANY are organic, natural AND eco friendly. S%26amp;H is only like a dollar fifty, and I got my order in a few days. If you are on short notice ask for faster shipping. And best of all they are CHEAP! Most eco friendly products are so expensive you can’t AFFORD to save the world. Hope this helped....
As a Community Health Care Specialist, I have had to experiment with different products %26amp; things according to each clients budget- %26amp; beleive me, there have been some doozies. One of the very best things that we have found for acne though, %26amp; even as the best skin toner available, even if you don't have problem skin, is Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol. The higher the percentage, the better. You can buy 70% off the shelf in pharmacies, but some pharmacies will carry the ';stronger'; stuff behind the counter %26amp; you just need to ask for it. Use it twice a day with cotton balls %26amp; you will be amazed how quickly your skin will clear up. I also challenge anyone to try an experiment- wash your face w/soap %26amp; water, than again w/the Isopropyl - yuk, your soap actually leaves that gunk your going to find on your face. And NO, I don't work for the company- I'm just really impressed with what the product can do that it's not even intended for. I just kind of stumbled across the fact that it is THE best pimple eraser ever found, great for removing what's left after you was your face, %26amp; a great toner too! Good Luck:)
Apply slices of tomato on your skin, the pulp of the tomato has astringent properties which can prevent acne. I came across a lot of simple and natural remedies for treating and preventing acne at http://acxe.info
proactiv doesn NOT work...thats all i have to say
Proactive works like a charm. If your skin is sensitive use that Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser. If that doesnt work, have your doctor prescribe Retin-A. I had chronic acne for years. Proactive worked at first, but then, life and stress caused my skin to become resistant to it. I went to a dermatologist who put me on Cetaphil, Retin-A, and a topical antibiotic. Now i just use the Ceetaphil. Try the P-Active first. Good luck!
I use green tea facial soap and Chickweed Cream. I would stay away from harsh chemical ingredients...
