Historically I've always had uneven skin tone, and occasional break outs... I was rarely comfortable going without any make-up... I now use Retin-a and my skin is amazing... I love it. It's so even and blemish free.

Retin-a will dry your skin out so I use vitamin E oil on my face before I go to bed. My skin is so smooth and soft - people have commented on how nice it looks.

Your Dr. has to prescribe it for you. Good Luck! What is the best dermatological treatment for acne?

Jonathan
well i have been on every medication from accutane to plenty of creams. None or which worked. And accutane has very bad side effects which was why i had to stop (liver cell damange)

I'm currently doing Acne Laser Treatments ($100 a treament) and Acid peels($80 a bottle, at home treatments). Its pretty pricey but MUCH worth it. My mom has had the micro dermabrasion and said its very painful and she didnt get the results she wanted.

I also put Retina-A cream on in between treaments. I'm not sure how much the cream costs because my insurances covers it.

hope that helps you a little.
accutane, the pill and antibiotics. in that order.
Clear.now acne treatment

I had the ACNE problemS and I'm using clear.now. it's working for me you should try it. Trust me I had the same problem I know how you feel. My friend told me about this acne product and I thank her so much for telling me about it. And now I would like to share it with you. When your skin is clear and doesn't have acne you feel so much better about yourself. Now I'm not shy to go outside because I feel beautiful that's to clear. now that's the name of the acne treatment I'm taking. If it doesn't work they will return your money that's what I liked the most. But I didn't have to return it because I love how it works and makes my skin feel soft and clear. It's better than ProActive products.

If you have an oily skin wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the pimples like soap. The secret of keeping the skin clear is to keep it oil-free and clean. If you have a dry skin honey is a great remedy for acne and pimples because the honey kills bacteria. If you have a combination skin when you wash your face, use sugar to scrub it, at least once a day, for two weeks to rid yourself of acne. I've been dealing with acne for the last couple of years,i usely get my face to somewhat clear up but not all the way so plz help me.What is the best acne treatment?
    Try these acne tips

http://cureacnetreatment.com/acne-tips.p鈥?/a>What is the best acne treatment?
Many years ago stage actors used to have to use makeup that made acne a horror to deal with ... what seemed to help was to remove the makeup and then take this daily preventative measure:

    1. cleanse with rubbing alcohol and then

    2. apply plain old vitamin A + D cream.

This would not work for severe acne but once you have a ';somewhat clear'; condition this simple routine will get you the rest of the way. There are several causes for acne...and this remedy only addresses cleanliness and minor bacteria issues.
OKAY, i do not suffer from severe acne, but when i do get it its pretty bad. i wash my face with Neutrogena oil-free acne wash, then dab my face (after washing it) with neutrogena oil-eliminating estringent..its blue, and then i put on AcneFree acne terminator 10. The brand for that acne terminator is called AcneFree and it works well. it comes in an orange tube, and is the HIGHEST ammount of prescription acne medication that you can get without it coming from a doctor. Those three things keep my face clear, and wash it twice a day. Also, if your face dries up do it once a day for a week and slowly get back to doing it twice a day.
I know that people say that proactive doesnt work.

but thats the best thing i have found.

and there is a off brand of it at walmart, its in a white bottle with Navy blue and orange i think writing on it, i think its called Acne works. but walmart sells it.

    it works great too.

but i used proactive 3 times a day and it worked GREAT.

    try it.
acne generally flares up when you use harsh cleansers and anti-oil gels and toners etc. I found the best thing that got rid of my acne and calmed my skin a lot was an ultra-gentle cleanser for sensitive skin, and a moisturizer for sensitive skin as well. if you cleanse and moisturize gently, you will see a difference. you're skin won't be so ';angry'; all the time.
No joke- I had extremely bad acne. I don't think I've met anyone who had worse acne then me. My dad said he had it like mine when he was younger. Anyway, I went on proactive and ever since my face has been nearly flawless. I still get some from time to time, but it's an incredible improvement. Nothing works like it and I only need to buy a new set every 2 months. I just order the face wash, cleanser and lotion.
The cause for pimples are many and not only adolescence as

popularly believed. Chronic constipation is one major cause,

the food we eat plays a very important role. You will have

to cut down the fried food, chocolates, cheese and aerated

drinks. Eat a lot of fresh fruits and green vegetables with

a lot of water. Instead of washing the face with soap, use

orange peel powder. Dry Orange peels in the shade for 4-5

days. Powder finely and store. Wash your face with this 2-3

times a day. It clears the face and feels very refreshing.

    more tips http://acnecaretipz.blogspot.com
I use nature's cure for women. I buy mine at Walmart for $10 a box. It contains pills and a cream. The cream is very similar to the one the dermaologist prescribed me which worked but was too expensive. I have also noticed that it works great on white heads. Hope this helps.
    Keep your skin clean,

Don't touch them with your nails,

    ... and wait with patience.

Ur 'beloved' will soon come to take U with him forever,

.... and, within months, U will start looking Beautiful again !

U will be surprised :: Where have all acnes vanished ?
well im still not perfectly clear but what i do is i was my face every day and dont completely let all the soap come off, so it drys my skin out and i use fresh lemon juice both of those do a great job but not 100% good luck
i didnt want to believe it, but proactive seems to work. i got the cheap $20 treatment, and u do only need a little and last long, and seems to work great. good luck

Does neosporin work as acne treatment?

Does anyone know if neosporin works in treating acne? It makes sense cause like acne is caused by bacteria right? So wouldn't an antibiotic help prevent and treat acne? Are there any side effects? ThanksDoes neosporin work as acne treatment?
Oh god I would never use that on my face! It is full of all kinds of things that may irritate your face, along with the fact it has a petroleum jelly like base that would just clog pores creating more breakout.Does neosporin work as acne treatment?
It would work if you popped your pimples and put it on the wound. It'll help heal it. But I don't think it works if you put it on your face without opening the pimple. I use it for that purpose on occasion. I use the kind without the glycerince stuff in it so that it doesn't look shiney on my face.
I don't think Neosporin would be useful because it's a glycerin and will block pores and add more oil to your skin. I suggest a Neutrogena Bar. If you can afford it Proactiv is GREAT!! I use it.
i do not know about neosporin but there is a cream and vitamin complex that will rid of this once and for all...email me, have your settings allow me to reply back
hydogen peroxide!!! Works great on everything
Someone recommended I use Neosporin for my severe acne. It seemed to make it worse because of the oil in it. You could try it, but it didn't help me

What is the strongest treatment for acne?

The strongest TOPICAL treatment? I only know of Differin. I also know that the stongest medicine overall is Accutane, but I'm way too afraid to use that. Really, I've mostly heard about the pills, but not much about topicals--once again, I can only name Differin right now... Thanks if anybody has answers, I appreciate the help! What is the strongest treatment for acne?
Here are some topical treatments. I've personally tried almost all of them, and all but the Sulfacetamide was too strong for my skin, but it smelled funny and didn't help all that much. So what may be too strong for me may not be for you. Just because something is ';strong'; doesn't mean it will clear up your acne, it can actually make it worse if it irritates your skin. I never found a topical that worked well for me. Finding something that successfully treats your acne is really a hit and miss game, It took me 12 years to find something that actually worked.

    Topical Acne Treatments

The most commonly used topical acne treatments include:

    A) Benzoyl Peroxide: can improve acne by killing the acne bacteria and by unblocking oil gland pores.

    B) Retinoids: This acne medication is used to unblock the pores of oil glands, and is usually the first choice of treatment for whiteheads and blackheads.

    Types of retinoids include:

Tretinoin (Steiva-A庐, Retin-A庐, or Avita庐 cream/gel, and Vitamin A Acid庐)

Adapalene (Differin庐 0.1% cream or gel solution)

    Tazortene (Tazorac庐 Gel 0.05%, 0.1%)

    C) Topical Acne Antibiotics, including:

    Clindamycin

    Erythromycin

    Sulfacetamide

    D) Azelaic acid: Has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties

    E) Combination topical products, such as:

Topical retinoid with erythromycin (Stievamycin庐 by Stiefel)

Topical benzoyl peroxide with erythromycin (Benzamycin庐 by Dermik)

Topical benzoyl peroxide with clindamycin (BenzaClin庐 by Dermik)What is the strongest treatment for acne?

Proactiv really works very well... try that
Get some tetracycline... but be aware that you shouldn't expose yourself to direct sunlight or tanning beds as you could end up with a serious burn. Wear protective clothing and sunscreen if exposure to the sun is unavoidable.

But first than that check with your doctor. ;)
    Clearisil face wash
    soap DOVE
I use proactiv its really a good skin cleanser. I use to have bad breakout on my cheeks and stuff, but i havent for a while now. but if you dont want to try that you might want to use clearasil it works pretty good too, but proactiv is the best, seriously.

Is toothpaste really effective in acne spot treatment?

I have a huge date tomorrow and Im all broken out, will toothpaste really help to dry out my breakouts? Is toothpaste really effective in acne spot treatment?
Not if you have more than just a few spots.

Toothpaste tends to dry your acne out, that is why

it works. DO NOT put it all over your face though, because

again, it dries it all out, and you'll be super red.

For spot treatment I put Noxzema on the spots just before

bed and in the morning they can either be poped or are

gone. Just be sure to wash your face in the morning and

several times through the day tomorrow, and don't touch your

    face either, that spreads oils.

Good Luck! (:Is toothpaste really effective in acne spot treatment?
Toothpaste is kind of an old wives tale... some people claim it works, but it's usually more irritating than beneficial. With your skin concerns, toothpaste is just a bad idea. It's supposed to dry out acne, but any over the counter zit cream will do the same thing, with less irritation.

No amount of makeup looks better than good skin and no makeup. You can't cure acne but you can control it, and a dermatologist is your first step. If you've already been to one and have no luck, get a second opinion. No one has to ';outgrow'; or live with acne.

Also you need patience (not saying you don't have any) but keep in mind that with every new regimen it can take up to 6 weeks to see any results, and often acne gets worse before it gets better. Good luck :)
Not quite; it just dries the pimple out, if that.

What I use to prevent/treat acne is Clinique clarifying lotion. It's a little spendy, but pale in comparison to the higher-end products like ProActiv, and works wonders for my skin. At the Clinique counter, you can also choose which clarifying lotion system to buy based on your skin type. It works pretty fast too, since it has a hefty amount of alcohol in it.

Have fun on your date, I'm sure he'll think you're beautiful!
Flip the tube over does it say use it on acne ? No.

It is not effective. If anyone has used it with success has gotten lucky. There are plenty of folks that return here severely burned from trying it.

Take some acne wash, and acne cream.

Do it before bed, in the morning and before your date.
No! Try rubbing alcohol if they need drying out.

What is a good QUICK home remedy treatment for acne?

My 14 year old daughter usually has a couple pimples here and there, but now her chin has a bunch of acne cysts - the hard as a rock kind. It's making her self-conscious and she's such a pretty girl that I hate to see her end up with scars. I'm making an appointment for her to see her doctor tomorrow, but we usually have to wait several days to get in. So is there something she can do at home that will provide overnight results? Thanks! What is a good QUICK home remedy treatment for acne?
go to a full service salon instead of the doc, who will only give her toxic things instead of acure....

there are reasons for the breakouts one the chin, black heads are from dirt on the oil duct...she could be doing this by keeping her hands on her chin alot...

white heads represent intestinal illimination so get the roughage going...the forehead has the same answers...but for the large intestinal tract...illimination is the best answer...if the break out is on the cheeks then if white then too much dairy..she is also hormonal so this is also a factor..these reasons tell me, an estetician, that she needs a full service salon instead of a doc...they will help with her diet, and cleansing products that are organic and customized for her skin and not harmful like the junk over the counter.....really no doc needed her...trust me...What is a good QUICK home remedy treatment for acne?

It costs a lot so its worth spending time checking it out before you go out and buy it.

Its hard to say whether what works for you. What works for me may not work for you because of different skin types; like are you oily, dry or what skin type are you.

Ive heard Proactive works, but not for very bad acne. That is more of a treatment for a few spots here and there that come now and then.

Nutrigena is crap! Clearasil is SO DANGEROUS! There is something in it that my dermatologist told me never to use. He said everytime you use it its like skin peeling your face.... it ages you, makes your skin more sensitive and it just doesn't work!!!

Other things you can do tho, are drink a cup of boilt water with a wedge of lemon in it. This clears your liver up and you should drink it everyday. Take a multivitamin everyday too and drink some milk because milk is very good for your skin. There was a myth that Cleopatra bathed in milk and thats why her skin was so pure but just drinking it is not only cheaper but its just as beneficial.

    Good luck!!!

I recently invested in the new Neutrogena Advanced Solutions. It is a little pricey (about $20 for the boxed set of cleanser and two lotions) but is comparable to Pro Active. I've noticed a difference in my skin already and only used it for a few days.

How to make the cucumber and lemon acne scar treatment?

I want to know how much cucumber juice and how much lemon juice to use and if its ok to just use lemon juice from one of those jars or should i use the juice right from a lemon? How to make the cucumber and lemon acne scar treatment?
You do this too? My friend told me about it and have been doing it ever since! Im not sure if we are thinking of the EXACT thing but what i do is, shave a cucumber (a good amount, or enough to cover your whole face), mix it with flour and a little bit of lemon juice (lemon juice irritates my skin) and mix it together. It forms a wonderful face mask that is cleansing, takes out all the oil and dirt from my pours, and helps cure any blemishes that I have. Good Luck!

Does the Philosophy brand ';Hope In A Bottle'; acne treatment work?

My mom bought me this Philosophy acne face wash and this Hope In A Bottle stuff to help me get rid of my acne. Does this work?Does the Philosophy brand ';Hope In A Bottle'; acne treatment work?
If you mean Hope in a Jar ...it's not exactly formulated for treating acne.

I usually tolerate creams very well but Hope in a Jar didn't work for me. My face was dry and cakey eventually and I noticed no improvement in my breakouts...they actually got worse.

But maybe someone else has a success story!

If you have really awful breakouts I'd strongly suggest making an appointment with a good dermatologist. A general doctor will probably just waste your time and energy on products that aren't completely up to date. Save your time and pain and seriously consider making an appointment. The earlier, the better.Does the Philosophy brand ';Hope In A Bottle'; acne treatment work?
I used all different type of acne medicine my entire life and nothing ever worked until I just went simple -- and bought some Clean and Clear face wash (the one with the blue lid) and some biore facial wipes for blemish which I use 2 times a day especially days I use make-up. It works wonders, my face is 80% clear :-)

soap and water....try drinking at least 10 cups of water a day. dont' stop. make it a daily routine. when you notice a difference you can go down to 8
There is not a lot that really work. Proactive is the only one I know of but the bad thing about it is you have to use it forever, as soon as you stop using it the acne comes back and probably worse than it was to begin with. I would suggest a dermatologist. They can help point you in the right direction.
    Proactive
All of the OTC stuff sucks. Acne is caused by different things in different people. The best place to start is by seeing a dermatologist. Was your face every day (SEVERAL TIMES A DAY) don't touch your face. and change your diet.

    Hi

In my opinion and experience if you want to treat your acne forever you must learn how you should fix the internal problem that's causing your acne, not just masking the symptoms or getting relief.

There are only few decent Ebooks and acne cure programs that can teach you exactly how to cure your acne from the inside.

Where medicine has failed them the authors have done their own research and found a way to overcome acne. In their guides they share their great knowledge with other acne sufferers. Anyhow, be very careful because many of them are pure crap with little value.

You can learn about one of the best guides that helped many people to treat their acne naturally in this helpful article:

I use bioidentical hormones. Initially, had DHEA and testosterone in with the estrogen creams. about a month later, got acne like a teenager. Doc stopped oral DHEA and reduced then stopped testosterone. Asked me if I wanted spironalactone to suppress testosterone. I declined. I use Retin A, Rx 1%, Benzoyl Peroxide 10%- clean/clear persa gel is 10%, and I got a script for topical cleocin the other day. can use oral antibiotics too. but alot of acne is hormone related. I just kept it under control w Retin A, I don't use liq makeups, on Bare escentuals mineral powder or Lancome Matt Buff II. Dove soap, no antibacterial, deoderant, triclosan or perfumed soaps on my face. I like to pick at, so, I have to wash hands /face alot. also, clean cell phone, keyboard, etc. see board certified dermatologist

If you have an experienced consultant in your area who has been in the business for more than 10 years, she will be able to help you. If you are willing, she will work with you until the right product combination is found for your skin type. All products are 100% money back guaranteed.

Based on the information you have posted, I would suggest the Classic Basic for Combination Normal to Oily skin which consists of Deep Cleanser, Blemish Control Toner, Clarifying Mask and Oil Control lotion. Your consultant will show you how to use the products and how much to use, she will follow up with you until you are getting the results you want.

I am currently working with a male client who has pretty much tried everything and is getting good results with the products mentioned above. He's got a ways to go yet, but the improvement is noticable to the point where people are commenting.

Check the link below to find a consultant near you, I wish you all the best.

Your acne might be due to hormonal imbalances. To treat them, try Birth Control Pills or Oral Contraceptives. It is believed that taking small quantities of estrogen is useful in restraining the job of androgens that is usually manufactured by the ovaries. The other components of oral contraceptives which include desogestrel and norgestimate are considered lesser androgenic rather than those found at the former formulation of birth control pills. As of the present only ortho tri-cyclen and estro-step oral contraceptive pills are supported by FDA to treat hormonal acne.

I would reccomend anything neatrogena, Clean and clear, differin,Clearasil and Ambi.

I am pondering on whether or not to use this thing called Roacutanne for mine but i amnot sure yet...

Clean and Clear is the best i think. But dont go crazy with it. it will make your skin peel like crazy just like the other medications for acne but its the most effective.
I like SkinId. It smells really nice and if you forget to use it one day you don't break out like crazy. Its also more personalized than Proactiv.

Is it ok to use the Neutrogena Wave and another acne treatment?

I just bought the Neutrogena Wave Duo and I noticed that it only says that it is a power cleanser. So... is it ok to use another acne treatment if you are using the Wave? My mom bought me Stridex (the red one) and I was wondering if I could use them both. Thank you so much in advance!

What is more effective for acne treatment, benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid?

If you looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne鈥?prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it鈥檚 advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

salicylic acid definitely- it not only helps reduce swelling but it also sloughs off dead skin

How much effective is laser Acne treatment?

Laser acne treatment generally works by stopping the bacterial growth which causes acne break outs. During the procedure, the dermatologists use light and heat to kill the bacteria and reduce the scarring effects of acne.

Laser treatment procedure can also be used to shrink the sebaceous glands that produce the oils. Once the sebaceous glands contract, they will no longer be able to produce excessive amounts of oily sebum. If the body鈥檚 oil levels are diminished, the hair follicles and the pores of the skin will not be blocked. As a result, the chances for acne recurrence are greatly reduced as there is no more breeding ground for bacteria.

It was even televised on TV.

It prevents future and existing acne, diminishes scars, and lightens skin and blemishes. Fast results too! (It's been claimed that major results can be seen within a week and no later than two weeks)

Before and After photos are available at the given ebay site.

This person is providing 1-3 week trial samples (Only for ONE DOLLAR.. definitely a deal) on ebay at:

Search up ';Cee En's Acne Solution'; or ';best acne solution ever'; on ebay.

First 100 customers can get the item for $1 for one week trial and up to 3 weeks. Or you can purchase 1 month supply for $40 or 6 month supply for $160

It's expensive, but the product DOES work.

My sister and cousin who both have major acne have tried the product and they both give it thumbs up. I have also heard many great feedbacks about this cream.

I don't have a problem with acne, but it seems to have great results on my sister who has moderate to severe acne. Her acne swelling went away overnight.

If your skin is naturally oily you do not need a moisturizer. If your acne cream is making your face red and dry you need to stop using it because it's not working if it is irritating your skin.

If you have naturally dry skin get a moisturizer like Olay Anti-wrinkle anti blemish or Clean and Clear Soft Day and it will help solve both problems at once.

I always apply my acne stuff at night and I do not put a moisturizer over it or under it. I apply my moisturizer in the morning and do not use acne medication at that time.

You might need a more gentle acne solution, try The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil and their Tea Tree Toner, they work great and are gentle.

Edit - Oily skin does not need a moisturizer, anyone in the cosmetics industry (who has not been brainwashed by companies who want you to buy their expensive moisturizer will agree). While ingredients like antioxidants are very good for your skin you DO NOT need a moisturizer to get these ingredients onto your skin, many toners contain these ingredients. Applying a moisturizer will not stop your skin from making oil, some people naturally produce more, oil your skin does not do this as a reaction to lack of moisturizer, if that were true none of us would have oily skin anymore.

After. I tend to wash my face in the shower, and then moisturize right when I get out. Use an anti-acne moisturizer (clean and clear makes a really good one!) and use enough to cover your face. Then, if you need more, use the same amount over again. Once your face is covered, use your towel to wipe off the excess so that your face doesn't feel oily and so you keep your face acne-free. Good luck!
you should use moisturizer after you apply the treatment, but make sure your moisturizer is oil free.
You need to restore the skins PH balance after washing your face. I don't know what products you're using but the correct steps are

    1) Cleanse %26amp; Rinse

    2) Tone

    3) Moisturize

Lots of acne cleansers really dry out the skin which is good and bad. It takes out all the oils %26amp; bacteria causing acne, yet it sucks the moisture from your skin. So use a moisturizer afterwards but put it on lightly if your fighting acne.
Use moisturizer right after applying your acne treatment. I'm on an acne regimen too (Proactiv) and I always apply my moisturizer after using the three steps. Also, don't listen to the person who said oily skinned people don't need moisturizers -- we do, especially if we're on acne regimens that have drying ingredients. Oily skin often means your skin is dehydrated, and creating more oil to compensate for it. By applying moisturizer, everything goes back into balance. It really makes a huge difference. :)

Well i told my dermatologist that i stopped using the treatment because my acne was getting worse, it wasn't bad to begin with my nose just broke out a bit, anyway he said at first it brings out the acne, then it goes away. Also alot of acne creme has stuff in it to clog your pores, look it up on google how to get rid of acne and black heads and they will tell you what ingredients shouldn't be in ur acne creme that will clog your pores.

Anyone that has ever had acne, and most of us have had it to some degree, knows that it is a problem. The problem, however, is to be expected at certain ages, and at certain times. We all know that understanding it does not make our consciousness of having pimples go away. Instead, you want a remedy, or a medicine, or something that will just help it to go away. What can we do in an effort to get an effective acne treatment?

Before we look at a good acne treatment, it is important to understand what causes acne. Otherwise, you may be largely undoing whatever method you use. To make it very simple, acne is largely caused by our natural skin oils clogging the pores of our skin, and then a natural bacteria, which thrives on skin oils, causes the infections which results in acne. In addition to this, acne can be triggered, or accentuated, by certain things. Two of the most common triggers are stress, as well as the ladies monthly cycle. Other triggers would be testosterone (in men and women), certain medications and steroids, and simply picking at or squeezing the pimples.

    The Basics of Acne Treatment

Here are a few general ideas that will help if you have a regular type of acne.

    Keep Your Face Clean

The first thing that you can do, and probably the most important, is to keep your face generally clean. Although this will only help some, nevertheless - it does help. Avoid excessive washing because your face does need some natural oil to keep it healthy - probably twice a day is good, and especially after strenuous activity.

    Use Over-The-Counter Medications

More and more medications are appearing on the market to deal with this problem. Because one person's skin type and amount of oils may differ, what works for one may not have quite the same effect on another. Probably one of the most important ingredients to look for is benzoyl peroxide, which acts as a good antibacterial agent, and tends to dry out the skin some.

    Persistency Is The Key

No matter what medication you actually use for your acne treatment, you need to remember that any over-the-counter medication will not work overnight. It will take at least a couple of days - if not a week or more, to see any real results.

If these do not work, or if you have a more serious acne, visit your general practitioner who can help you with a stronger acne treatment. What is a good acne treatment?
Clean and Clear's Advantage Acne Control Kit has worked best for me. It's not as expensive as ProActiv. I also use the Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub before using the Clean and Clear face wash because the little beads get rid of dead skin while the salicylic acid prevents breakouts. Both the Clean and Clear kit and Biore scrub are available at Target.
    proactive-

do not use acutane. if you get online you can read some of the terrible stories. Not to everyone but some people makes you go nuts. My sister was perfectly fine and started to take this and got nose bleeds everyday, patches of red spots on her skin, and very dry itchy skin. I also know a friend that her daughter tried to commit suicide while on this drug and at the hospital the acutane was the cause and was making her blood pressure go sky high!
    Hey

There are some great ways that can help you to get rid of your acne.

check these helpful methods that helped me to get rid of my acne:

    Water

Drink a lot of water every day. Aim to drink at least two liters of still mineral water. If the skin becomes dehydrated, dead skin cells are not effectively shed, which can lead to blocked pores and further acne.

    Sunshine and fresh air

Sunshine stimulates the creation of vitamin D in our body - an essential vitamin for healthy skin. A little bit of fresh air and sunshine every day will also reduce the stress and increase oxygen to your skin. Even when it's overcast, the sun's rays reach us, so try to take a light walk outside every day.

Reduce the intake of sugar and refined carbohydrates

New research pointing the finger at diet - eating refined carbohydrates (white bread, pasta, rice, flour etc) and sugar leads to a surge in insulin and an insulin-like growth factor called IGF-1. This in turn leads to an excess of male hormones, which encourage the skin to excrete large amounts of sebum. This grease-like substance encourages the growth of bacteria responsible for acne.

Refined carbs/sugar = more insulin = more hormones = more sebum (oil) = more bacteria = more acne

    Your bed sheets

Keep the bed sheets clean. Wash your pillow case on a regular schedule to reduce the transfer of your natural body oils.

    Wash your face

Wash your face only one time a day. Don't wash too many times , because that will cause only more production of oil on your skin. you can also use very gentle cleansers for normal skin that don't dehydrate the skin and wash twice a day.

Anyhow, don't go out and buy those magical acne free in 24 hours products that are offered all over the place, they just don't work and you will waste hundreds of dollars for nothing.

Why not? Well, because it takes time to cure acne and you will need at least one week to see any noticeable results. There is absolutely no way to cure your acne immediately.

If you really want to get rid of your acne there are two recommended ways that should combined together (if you can afford it) for best results.

Firstly and more important, you must learn how you should fix the internal problem that's causing your acne, not just masking the symptoms or getting relief.

There are only few recommended Ebooks and acne cure programs that can teach you exactly how to treat your acne from the inside.

Where medicine has failed them the authors have done their own research and found a way to overcome acne. In their guides they share their great knowledge with other acne sufferers. In any case, be very careful because many of them are pure crap with little value.

You can find honest and comprehensive review about the best programs in the market today in this helpful article:

    http://www.squidoo.com/Best-Acne-Ebooks

The second thing that you need to do is to get good acne skin product that will be suitable for your skin.

There are many acne skin care products available in the market right now and it's not easy to choose the product that will give you the best results.

When choosing your product make sure to check that you get at least 2 months full guarantee. Some of the big names in the industry are:

ClearPores, Acuzine, Acnezine, Vilante and some others.

Try this simple remedy. Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne like soap. The secret of keeping the skin clear is to keep it oil-free and clean. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.

Take Care and God Bless !Is there a good acne treatment/medication?
most of those medications have benzoyl peroxide as the active ingredient, which causes redness, itchyness and irritation on womens skin. try an acne treatment like clearpores made or salicylic acid which is much milder.
Natural acne treatments are desirable because they have few side effects, are inexpensive, and are effective for many. There are many natural acne treatments available for purchase. These contain various plant extracts that work to dry up the pimple and sooth the skin

Most of these products contain vitamin E, grapeseed oil, calendula, aloe vera, witch hazel or essential oils. For example, tea tree oil applied to acne has been found to be effective for hundreds of years. An herbal blend that can help with acne consists of equal parts of the herbal extracts of sarsaparilla, yellow dock, burdock, and cleavers. Take half a teaspoon of this blend three times daily.

Maintain a healthy kitchen with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Eat foods containing healthy omega-3 oils such as ground flaxseeds, salmon, and sardines. Drink six to eight large glasses of water a day. Vitamins A, B, C, and E, as well as chromium and zinc, all play a role in reducing and preventing acne. Avoid refined sugar, fried foods, and trans fat (such as milk, milk products, margarine, and any hydrogenated vegetable oils). Some people find that chocolate, caffeine, carbonated beverages, iodized salt, shellfish, wheat and/or milk products aggravate acne.

Stress is popularly thought to be a cause of acne. Yoga, exercise, breathing techniques, biofeedback, massage, and meditation may be beneficial. Chinese, Ayuredic, Tibetan and Japanese herbal medicines can be used to treat acne. Massage is often recommended for people with skin problems. It can help to increase circulation and lymphatic drainage and speed the healing of blemishes.

When shopping for cosmetics and toiletries, look for the phrase ';non-comedogenic'; on the packaging. Avoid heavy foundation makeup. Most acne patients should select powder blushes and eye shadow over cream products because they are less irritating and non-comedogenic. Never pick, scratch, pop or squeeze acne, especially inflammatory acne or ';pustules';.
I LOVE ProActive. I have been using it 5 years. It is best to use the entire system, not just part.

Proactive does have benzoyl, but it sounds to me like your itchiness is just inflammation from products NOT an allergic reaction.

I think Proactive is worth a try. Give it a good couplke months to clear up your skin...
Proactive is great and it is on sale right now for $19.99 on MTV channels. If you decide to order it, ask them over the phone if you can return it should it turn out you are allergic to it.

    Good luck.
If you would like to proceed from acne to much more serious health problems and die at the age of ';bald-and-fat-40';, continue to do everything you have been. If you would like to completely cure your acne problem and live a healthy, long life... then read the following and do more research:

1: Acne is NOT caused by bacteria or a bacterial infection. Here's a list of causative cause-and-effect:

    - You eat a pizza; No fruit, no raw vegetables, and you drink soda.

    - This digests (very, very slowly...) and constipates you, but during digestion releases acidic ash content; What's left after digestion.

    - You are unable to absorb nutrients efficiently because of constipation, and now your body finds the acids (normally as strong as car-battery acids) and creates a mucus lining on the intestines and some organs to keep them from getting damaged.

    - Your body releases calcium from the blood, body tissues, ligaments, bones, teeth, and fluids to neutralize and carry out that acid. (Ionized calcium has plenty of room to spare for detoxification of harmless acidic waste.) Along with this calcium is a plethora of vital minerals and serum-alkaline fluid levels which could have been used to protect the cells themselves from damage. Meanwhile, that mucus back in your digestive tract is hardening into a plastic-paste.

    - Your body is already using vital detoxification organs (liver, kidneys, gallbladder, etc) to rid itself of specific ingested and absorbed threats, and this overheated, overprocessed, over salted, meat-laden, dairy-contaminated rotting food is the last on its list to be run through and sifted... So evacuation begins. While your liver and kidneys and blood vessels carry the worst of the load, which flows around waiting for its turn to be kicked out, your body takes it a step further and evacuates what it can through the SKIN and LUNGS. Heard of sweating? Try getting an acne sufferer to do heavy cardio 30 minutes after eating something very high in sugar. It comes to the top faster with sweat.

    - What goes through the lungs CAN cause lung problems, if there's no control over the diet and this continues to happen. Asthma is one thing that can develop. If you're an acne sufferer, though, guess what your body finds most useful for evac-detox. ; ) When acidic waste (primarilly) reaches the skin, your skin goes from being a balanced, 7.x pH environment to an over-acidic hell hole.

    - The bacteria blamed for acne swoop in; for they thrive in this specific pH level and environment. They make their way to hairs first, as it's an easy way in, and because you're excreting acidic waste through sebum, which DOES reach the surface.

    - So, these little guys cultivate in a pull of your own acidic oils, and make their way down to the inner layers of your epidermis. You don't have acne yet, bud; Just an oily face.

    - These bacteria grow and grow and grow in number, and your body notices. Your body sees this as a huge problem, because if the bacteria spreads enough, it can pose a threat to the entire body's health... not just the face (or neck or back or chest; etc).

    - And... here's what you'll never, ever hear a doctor telling you:

Your body gives you acne; Not the bacteria.

Your antibodies hustle in and cause a big swelling, and there you have it! If the fluids can escape, you have what appears to be a clogged pore. Pores can appear clogged for many reasons, but only very rarely for the reasons of '; '; '; dirt '; '; ';. If the fluids cannot escape, or the infection is deep, then you get those lovely puss pockets of gratuitous love we all call ';pimples'; or ';zits';.

So... Your body is telling you something. Acne is not the problem; It's the sign. It's the symptom OF a problem.

Here are some steps to getting rid of your acne (or at least quieting the battle):

1: Shop primarilly in the produce sections of your market or eatery. A minimum of 90% of your diet should be fresh and RAW fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, and grains. The rest should be decided by you as either a type of meat or legumes; or if you'de rather neither of them be in your diet, more fruit or vegetable content.

2: Drink as much water as you can stomach, but drink it in sips and swallows and NOT glugs. Drinking too much at a time can overload the kidneys, so make it a goal to finish X-amount by the end of the day. Also, water should not be had 10 minutes before a meal or until 10 minutes after, as it dilutes the stomach's acids. Otherwise, you're all clear.

3: Stop drinking sodas (artificial sugar is no excuse), all carbonated beverages, alcohols on any list of ingredients, pasteurized fruit or vegetable juices, etc. Water, FRESHLY MADE juices, freshly made herbal teas, and... water are all fine to drink at almost any time.

4: Stop eating anything from a diner of any sort (There is little room for excuse here; One being ';It's a 'raw-food' diner!'; I just don't think many of you weak individuals will be able to handle a real-life diet. ; )

5: If it has added sugar, corn syrups, or any sweetener other than stevia or low-glycemic substances like agave nectar, don't buy or eat it.

6: If it has hydrogenated ANYTHING in it, any kind of coloring agent (that isn't a plant pigment), or anything that generalizes without specification (ie: 'spices', 'artificial flavor', 'natural flavor', etc), don't eat it.

7: Make sure that every meal contains a green plant food or at least a red or purple fruit. Eat more bananas, raisins, plums, dates, etc for your sweet tooth, and eat more avocados and healthy, cold pressed oils (olive oil, coconut oil, etc) for your fats. You may obtain a very good source of dietary fat from certain fish; canned or fresh.

8: Don't e at more than one serving of animal flesh per day. (Until, that is, your acne has partially cleared. You've reached the stage of detox after that to where your body may be able to handle detoxification of heavy red meats and dairy again. . . BUT--%26gt;)

9: Don't eat dairy or anything that has a dairy product or derivitive in it... unless it's from a human's breast. Quite simply put, if you're drinking (eating...) milk, your mind hasn't progressed beyond the intellectual level of a small child. You're dependent on that milk.

10: Last but not least, take, eat, drink, stuff up your butt, inject into your arm, sniff up your nose NO DRUGS; MEDICAL OR OTHERWISE. These make acne worse, 99% of the time. If it's an Acne-Helping-Happy-Miracle-Drug, do realize that it's also a drug that has been proven by science and testimony to destroy such things as liver tissue, kidney tissue, intestinal tissue, blood vessel tissue... brain tissue... Catch what I'm saying? Now, what do you depend on the most to keep acne from getting bad? Why, your detoxification routes! (such as the liver, kidneys, blood...)

Before I decide to stop typing, I'll add one more positive note:

Isolated sugar has been proven to be 3 times more chemically addictive in our bodies than an allowance of nicotine alone, so good luck in quitting, you weak bastards. : P
Here's a simple formula for keeping the acne away.

    1. Go Buy two face cleaners: 1 clearsil pads and 1 apricot scrub

    - Use clearsil pad to clean your face every morning and before bed. (Wash face with water, dry, use pad, don't dry).

    - Apricot scrub. Use this at least once a week. Best to use every other day though. Easiest to use in shower. After use then use clearsil pad.

    2. Use rubbing alcohol for spot reduction. Dip Q tip in rubbing alcohol and apply to pimple before bed.

    3. Don't cause scars: Don't pick if you don't have to.

    4. Keep your hair clean. Our hair has so much oil in it (even dry hair). Many people don't realize that a lot of acne comes from hair. This means shower at least every other day.

    5. Keep your pillow case clean. Wash weekly. If you don't have washer and dryer then wash in bathtub. It holds a lot of oil!

    6. If you are a female you can also buy some concelear. If you can afford it buy oil free concelear (like Physicians Formula). If not then buy 99 cent concelear (wet n wild brand is cheap). You can use this to cover up acne while in public and for some reason i think it helps to wear it.

    7. Drinks lots of water!!!

If you can't afford to buy acne products listed above there are home remedy formulas.

Instead of clearsil pads apply rubbing alcohol with cloth.

Instead of apricot scrub mix oil free soap with sugar (I used to keep a glass jar of sugar in my bathroom).

The itching is probably because you have dry skin and this makes it dryer. You can buy a face moisturizer but make sure it's oil free and hypoallergenic. Apply this after your acne regimen and it should help with itch.

You can't get rid of scars until you've been acne free for 3 months. At this time you can start using scar meds. like Mederma.

Tip: Hot water opens pores so you can clean them out. Cold water closes them.

Tip: Don't ever rub face dry with a towel. Either blot dry or let air dry. Towel particles clog up pores.

REMEMBER: You have to use all steps for it to be effective.

    Hope this helps!
You can heal your acne from the inside out. The previous answer that you get is very comprehensive. Skin problems have been linked to dysfunctions in kidney, liver and colon.

wel i jus prefer you homemade %26amp; natural acne treatments .

    homemade acne treatment

Follow any 1 method below regularly

homemade acne treatment is to make a paste of honey with cinnamon and nutmeg. All you need is about one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and about half of it nutmeg powder. Add some honey to make enough paste to cover the inflammed area completely. Just lie down as honey may dribble down. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes and wash with luke warm water.

thanks bye tc..People who have mild to moderate acne: which is the best acne treatment?
    Hi Jonas,

Here is some information on Aloe Vera and Tea Tree, a natural remedy, which may be of some help to you.

The watery gel from Aloe Vera plant is a highly effective natural cure against Acne. The enzyme-rich gel has very soothing anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It can also be taken internally and helps clean up and detox the digestive tract. This in turn can help clear up the skin.

Gel or juice of Aloe Vera is highly useful in fading of acne scars. You can grow Aloe Vera plant in your home and apply freshly taken pure Aloe Vera gel to your scar. Otherwise many branded cosmetic companies manufactures pure Aloe Vera gel, so you can choose the best cosmetic companies to get Aloe Vera gel.

Vitamin A is also a natural and effective Acne cure. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin.

Vitamin E also helps in countering Acne. It is a natural antioxidant and beneficial for the skin.

Oil is obtained from the Melaleuca alternifoliais tree from Australia. It is very effective against Acne as it contains bacteria-fighting substances called Terpenes. Acne is often caused by bacteria and the Terpenes either outright kill them or weaken them enough to be destroyed by protective antibodies. There are very little side effects from using Tea Tree Oil.

For more information check out the website http://www.trustwilliam.com/en-GB/Ingredients/Aloe-Vera-Trust-William/?term=Aloe+Vera%26amp;extcam=sm . You'll see the ingredients are 99.9% Pure Aloe Vera Gel with 'Vitamins A,C %26amp; E' and with 'Tea Tree'.

Hope this helps keep your acne %26amp; scars at bay!!
You poor thing, I know just how debilitating acne can be, it sucks! I've had bad skin all through my teenage years and am controlling it at the moment with antibiotics - oxytetracycline taken twice a day. It's working, clear skin!

However, this is quite a drastic step to take, and I did try other things beforehand.

First of all, there are some good face washes out there which will go a long way to helping. Clearasil is a good range and they have a super-duper scrub at the moment which is costly but worth it. (Clearasil Ultra - Deep Pore Treatment Scrub, I use it religiously along with the antibiotics.) It helps fight spots already there and prevents new ones coming up.

If scrubs aren't enough, your doctor may be able to prescribe some medicated cream or lotion to apply to your skin. I tried Zineryt, a bottle of clear liquid which smelled horrendous, dried out my skin something silly but actually worked okay for a bit.

One more option is, if female, trying a mild contraceptive pill, these can work well on preventing acne and can be used even if contraception is not necessary.

If you try all the options out there I'm sure you'll find something that works! Just give everything a go, don't expect instant results and scout out a nice GP!
If you have acne, the following vitamin groups will be of help.

    1. Vitamin B Complex. The groups of B vitamins are useful in supporting the overall health of your skin.

    2. Vitamin C with bioflavonoids. Vitamin C contains powerful antioxidants that are necessary for a minimum of 300 metabolic roles in the body.

    3. Vitamin E. This type of vitamin is rich in antioxidants thus increasing the curing capabilities of the body and rebuilding of damage skin tissues. Required daily dose to combat acne is 400 IU.
Acne can be quickly and permanently cured with this natural treatment.

Please read this response I received from feroz who had suffered from acne for 12 years and had tried countless treatments and only got rid of it completely using this treatment.

    ';From: frz187

Subject: Re: hey mukunda this is feroz

    Message: mukunda thank you so much, im officially acne free after 2 1/2 weeks. if it wasnt for your advice i dont know what i would have done...one thing i noticed that helped me with mine was vigorously massaging with oils.....';

    TREATMENT

I've had incredible results massaging with essential oils. Oils such as sweet almond, grape seed and lavender are good - have been used by skin specialists to successfully treat and cure acne. They do not clog and surprisingly, lessen skin's over production of oils. Rid me of acne and healed ALL of my many (some severe) skin conditions, removed all blemishes and scars and gave me a totally clear skin.

Massage: First tighten skin by opening mouth 3/4';, pulling lips tightly back against teeth. Do with a forward and back motion using tips and front of fingers, sometimes palms depending where you apply.

Gradually build up to very vigorous. Skin and hands have to first adjust. Vigorous massage is the most beneficial and quicker acting.

1).Chin area: Use both hands with first three fingers held together and thumbs resting under chin do fast up and down massage at 45 degrees from chin point to cheeks with finger tips.

2). Using palms and fingers (held together) of both hands do an up and down massage at 45 degrees from chin point up to cheek bone(Build up daily to vigorous). This will give face a ';lift'; and tighten/firms skin there. Do another massage vertcally up and down from chin point close to nose and up to near eye. Good also for lifting and tightening/firming skin.

3). Place both hands on face with front of index fingers immediately next to front of ears with other fingers placed a little apart. Massage up and down from chin bone to eyes. Also good for ';lift'; and skin tightening/firming.

    4) Forehead: Use front of first three fingers held close together and do a series of small horizontal forward andback massages blending one into the next as work way from one side to the other side.

Skin maybe a little red at beginning but after a day or two will be less so and more like a mild, healthy tan

I am sure you can figure out how to do others.

IMPORTANT:Vigorous massage can be neck straining. Counteract by doing many (20+) head turns and some 360 degrees head rolls.

  • Can you put acne treatment gel all over your face?

I know that acne treatment gels are made to use as spot treatments on existing acne,,, but would it be reasonable to put a thin layer on an area of your face that doesn't currently have any pimples, but you know that it's acne prone? Can you put acne treatment gel all over your face?
Get advice from a skin specialist. Can you put acne treatment gel all over your face?
No do not do this. Places where acne is not present on your face is not a good idea because the bases used in acne gel will extract all of the moisture from your skin causing it to crack and get potentially damaged when exposed to sunlight.

Edit: It will be better for your acne proneness if you apply a vigorous apricot scrub in the shower every couple of days instead.
You can, but make sure that because it's only intended for spot treatments, it will dry out your face, so make sure to moisturize.
yes you can if you apply it thin quantity's!
Yes. Do it all the time.
That's fine, but only put a little on like you said, and keep it far away from your eyes.
sure y not i do it cuz it going to come to that spot sooner or later
    that's what i do

What is a VERY good, easy acne treatment?

Im only in the 6th grade and I have pretty bad acne that really annoys me. What is an effective treatment? What is a VERY good, easy acne treatment?
Here mate i know how it can be annoying going through product after product!! There is a good product which has really helped my little brother but i would try these helpful tips first

Here are just a few tips to treat them so they would disappear and not multiply.

First of all, when you see a small pimple, try to avoid the temptation of popping it. Popping it can cause it to multiply as it can spread the infection underneath the skin and the next morning you'd find dozens of them on your face! If ever you do pop a zit, make sure you wash it with soap and water or some alcohol to avoid the risk of infection.

Second, wash your face morning and night using mild soap or facial wash. You need to keep your face clean but you don't need strong cleansers to do this. Stay with the mild ones so you would avoid irritation.

Third, choose the right toner. Toner is the new astringent as it's a lot gentler to the skin. After washing your face, apply facial toner.

Fourth, exfoliate. Don't exfoliate your skin everyday! Exfoliate every three days and use a gentle scrub. Don't use a product that once used would make your face feel like it's been scrubbed by sandpaper. Your facial skin is really sensitive and it can't handle such beating. Be gentle with it.

Lastly, get enough sleep. Not enough sleep can cause pimple breakouts so make sure you get 8 hours of sleep a night. Sleep is a very important thing as it reduces your stress level. Stress influences acne breakouts so in order to reduce your stress level, get some sleep! When you have plenty of sleep, you don't only get rid of acne but you feel much happier too!

I don't know if any pharmacies stock Acnezine but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product via the offical site http://www.acnezine.com/?aid=853116

It's Worked very well for my brother and he has had very bad acne i'm sure if it worked for him it will bring you some benefit

Best Of Luck! What is a VERY good, easy acne treatment?
Here's what i did. I went online to www.skinid.com and took the evaluation. then i found what i needed(cleanser, toner, moisturizer) then i went to the grocery store and bought them. It's not skinID but it works the same and is nearly half the price. It's very easy to follow just do it in the morning and night. I haven't had a breakout since.
Wash your face often, try eating low fat food (but no diet soda/pop), buy a facial cleanser, eat a lot of vegetables, drink LOTS of water.
    Bathe regularly.
Iodine, wear it at night, wash off in the morning.

Price of receiving the acne laser treatment?

I'm planning to go check out the LaserHQ center to rid of my acne but I'd like to know a ballpark figure. Have you been there or know anyone that has received it?Price of receiving the acne laser treatment?
These prices vary *tremendously*, plus, maintenance treatments are required, so it's not really a permanent solution. There are also many different types of ';laser'; and light treatments for acne: diode lasers, blue light (also called photodynamic therapy), as well as pulsed-light and heat-energy therapy. If this LaserHQ center is a ';medi-spa';, they will provide with whatever service you request, whether it will help or not, as long as you pay them. You need to consult a dermatologist to ensure that you will receive the best treatment for your condition and obtain optimal results.

If you have insurance, and your acne is severe enough to merit this kind of treatment, you should consider seeing a dermatologist for Accutane therapy. Even if you don't have insurance, Accutane therapy would probably cost less than laser treatments.

See the information below from Mayo Clinic about laser treatments. They are not a ';miracle'; or permanent cure for acne, and further study for each type of therapy is really needed -- they are usually considered and recommended only when other therapies have not worked. Good luck!Price of receiving the acne laser treatment?
Try the acne blend and wash at this site- it helped my acne a lot.

besides its all natural and no side efefcts

What is the best acne spot treatment for occasional blemishes?

i dont really have acne, but sometimes i'll get a zit. what is the the most effective spot treatment? What is the best acne spot treatment for occasional blemishes?
The tricky part about acne is that the problem can

actually become worse if you overmedicate. That's

because acne medication can overdry the skin, causing

a boost in your skin's Sebum (oil) production. This

results in...you guessed it - more acne.

So what's the long term solution? Find gentler

solutions or even natural acne cures that won't

shock your body into more breakouts.

    Here's what I recommend...

    Glycerin based facewash:

Glycerin is gentler and will balance the

    pH levels in your skin.

    Antibacterial Soap:

For body acne, try using an antibacterial soap

to slowly dry out the skin. If your skin gets too dry,

switch to a moisterizing soap like Dove to

    counterbalance the effect.

    Don't Overwash:

Wash your face only 2 times a day max and gently

    pat dry with a towel.

    Moisterize:

Use a gentle face moisterizer if the glycerin based

face wash drys you out too much. I like using

    Aveeno moisterizers personally.

    Change Your Diet:

Eat almonds, fiber, drink lots of water and avoid

excess sugar intake. Food really does make a difference.

This is because the food you put into your body has a

direct effect on your Sebum (oil) production. By eating

the right foods, you'll minimize oily skin, thereby

    preventing breakouts.

    Egg Whites:

If acne medication isn't working or causing new breakouts,

try applying egg whites to the pimples at night before bed.

This natural remedy works by gently drying out the clogged

pores and clearing up the pimple.

    Oatmeal Masks:

One of my favorite natural skin conditioners is wearing an

';oatmeal mask';. The oatmeal with smooth your skin while

simultaneously absorb toxins and oils from your pores.

Try this for a few days straight. Wear the oatmeal mask

for 10 minutes, then wash off. You'll have a nice

    glowing complexion right after.

    Lemon Juice:

Lemon juice also dries up pimples and kills any bacteria

in the infection. The citric acid also balances your skin's

pH levels to prevent future breakouts.

    Honey:

Yes, despite your initial beliefs, honey is FANTASTIC for

skin care. Actually, you may notice on many moisterizers

that honey is an ingredient. Much like the lemon solution

above, honey balances the skins pH levels. Test out this

sticky remedy by dabbing pimples with honey and leaving it

on for 5-10 minutes. You can apply full honey masks to your

face but I prefer the oatmeal masks instead.

    They're less messy.

I recommend Clearasil ultra or Oxycerin to treat acne and black spots. during the summer, use a lot of sun block and protect your skin at all times. if you have sensitive skin, don't try the wave because it is known to cause irritation on sensitive skin due to the ingredients it uses. I recommend using a tea tree soap bar twice a day. Then after apply Tea Tree Oil. It is natural and the oil is an antiseptic so it kills germs on your skin.
I use Clinique Acne solutions spot healing gel. Its a little pricey but its so worth it. Also make sure you dont touch them or pop them. That will only make the blemishes last longer and scar
Have you tried putting a dab of toothpaste on the zit at bedtime? Leave it on until morning. They dry up and shrink overnight.

you should use Neutrogena, it works really well.

or try tea tree oil. that works good too.

or if you don't want to get medicine, just put honey on your face for 15 minutes every day.

important: keep your face away from the sun, wear a hat.

I recently went to the dermatologist and he reccommended the facial cleanser Cetaphil. So far it has worked really really well, and its really mellow so it wont dry out your skin, or load it with oil. :] It also makes your skin soft. If that doesnt help, go to a local dermatologist and maybe ask them about a product called Ziana. Its for spot treatments and stuff. Its so amazing :]

    Hope that helps!
anything with sylica acid(sorry i dont know how to spell it) is good for clearing up acne(although its kind of drying). also, if you're a girl, birth control pills help a ton!!! im on yaz and it has reduced my acne a lot! use facial scrubs in the shower/morning and make sure to wash your face a fair amount. i like neutrogena ';one less stress free'; acne wash.
same exact thing happen to me. dont know if my body got immune to pro active or not but it stopped working for me, now i use acnezine, been using it for about 6 months and so far i love it
am not sure how to spell it but tropical acne cream i think thats how you spell it but if u can figure out what i spelles than thats it it works really well
