My mom bought me this Philosophy acne face wash and this Hope In A Bottle stuff to help me get rid of my acne. Does this work?Does the Philosophy brand ';Hope In A Bottle'; acne treatment work?
If you mean Hope in a Jar ...it's not exactly formulated for treating acne.
I usually tolerate creams very well but Hope in a Jar didn't work for me. My face was dry and cakey eventually and I noticed no improvement in my breakouts...they actually got worse.
But maybe someone else has a success story!
If you have really awful breakouts I'd strongly suggest making an appointment with a good dermatologist. A general doctor will probably just waste your time and energy on products that aren't completely up to date. Save your time and pain and seriously consider making an appointment. I used all different type of acne medicine my entire life and nothing ever worked until I just went simple -- and bought some Clean and Clear face wash (the one with the blue lid) and some biore facial wipes for blemish which I use 2 times a day especially days I use make-up. It works wonders, my face is 80% clear :-)
