First thing, I tried washing my face with a bar of soap a few times a day. It helped for a few weeks, but then my skin adjusted to it and I got acne worse than before. Then I tried ProActive, it worked great for a few months, but then my skin adjusted to it again. Then I tried Oxy. Great stuff, but once again, only works for a short while until your skin adjusts.
After about a year of trying all this stuff, I had pretty bad acne again. I went to the dermatologist, and he gave me choices of a lot of different stuff, but they all required an antibiotic, so I said no since I don't like taking antibiotics when I'm not sick. Then he told me about Accutane. He explained that it can have serious side effects, and I would have to get blood work every month for 4 months.
I decided to try it, since it worked for my friend. The first month, I admit it sucked. My face was so dry it was peeling, and my lips were dryer than chalk. After I bought chapstick, and got used to the accutane, it wasn't too bad. Eventually my face stopped peeling, and the last 2 months of it were almost normal. After I finished it, my face was clear. I'm not gonna lie, I still get pimples every now and then, but they're very rare. And I don't have to buy anything anymore, just wash my face every day. I reccomend it.For people with acne. What acne treatment has worked for you?
Drink a lot of water and wash your face twice a day.
try practiv
Buy EVERY Clean%26amp;Clear or L麓OREAL products for acne....
It worked for me...=S
I am doing Dan's Regimen (type it into your search bar to find more info). It works REALLY well. You use a gentle cleanser first, then 2.5% benzoyl peroxide next, then use 10% alpha hydroxy lotion after that. You do this twice a day. It has worked wonders for me.
It's not just for facial acne either. You can use it on your back/chest/shoulders too. I highly recommend it!
Aztec secret indian healing clay. It sounds stupid, but the clay drys on your skin and then pulls out the oils from your pores. it wont get rid of all acne, but 80-90% of it should go away with regular use and its dirt cheap like 5 dollars for 2 pounds online
Well first i tried Proactiv, it worked for me at first then acne came back after like 2 or 3 months...Then i tried Acne Free for a month and that didn't work. I'm now trying Clean %26amp; Clear, so far it has worked the best. So thats whats working for now, if this fails me, i don't have a back-up...
Do not get that online scam stuff.
Just go to the pharmacy for a good product
Wash your face always with cold water
