What is the best home treatment for acne?

I have one really bad pimple that won't seem to go away. Right now, I am washing my face with warm water and soap, and then rinsing with cold water. I heard that warm water opens pores and cold water closes them. I am also putting Hydrogen Peroxide on it.

Any other good home treatments that can help? What is the best home treatment for acne?

Probably the most useful lifestyle change you can make are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer. People often refer to redness as ';scarring,'; but fortunately it usually isn't in the permanent sense. It's just a mark that takes months to fade if left entirely alone.

Here are a few helpful links.
I saw this at GNC nutrition centers, dabbing witch Hazel on it for a couple of days seems to dry it out. You don't hafta buy it there, you can get it really cheap at Wal Mart. Toothpaste dabbed on the zit and left on overnight sometimes works(not 4 everyone) , and it's gross, but dabbing a little of your 1st morning urine on the zit seems to dry it up pretty fast. Hey, I saw it on Oprah. LOL
DONT TOUCH UR FACE!!

that helps a lot with helping to not make pimples apear.

if its painful, then u need to pop it. i know itll hurt, but u dont want it to get infected.

after u get the nerve to pop it put some hy. peroxide on it and leave it alone.

make sure you got all teh crap out of it.
Normally when I get pimples on my face I put rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and rub it on my face. The rubbing alcohol dries out the pimples. It works well for me, hope it'll work for you :)
