You could probably try the over-the-counter creams such as Scar Zone or Mederma. Ask a doctor or call your local pharmacy and ask them. What is the best lifestyle treatment for acne scars?
Hey MIly ! i had a problem with acne myself and the scars they leave afterwards. you need to keep your skin clean and moist at the same time which is hard to do . try cleansing 2x a day and taking a lot of vitamin C orally , through drinks or other but either way its good for your skin. water is verrry important too. the link below will provide you will most of the information you need to help fight acne and the scars . it helped me a lot, i hope it helps you

Best acne treatment for nodules and papules?

other than the prescription accutane. im looking for something i can get over the counter. thank youBest acne treatment for nodules and papules?
My dermatologist took one look at me and told me to go on Accutane. I thought about it and decided it was far too risky and just decided that there has to be another way.

Since I found Proactiv to be completely ineffective,I had almost no faith in the Acne Free skin care system, but I decided to try it anyway. Well, it was amazing. It really has been the only thing that worked for me. I use it only at night since I have sensitive skin. They even have an Acne Free Severe kit and can help you determine which kit you need. I have tried both and honestly feel that the regular kit works great!! It costs less, too. You can get it at Walmart or any drug store.

Which acne treatment would be best for me?

OK, so I'm 14 and I have mild acne. I have very dry skin. The acne is usually on my chin and mostly my for head. And I was considering these acne treatment creams. Proactive or Clean and Clear. I am currently using Neutrogena (the orange one) and it doesn't really work for me. And my dermatologist says it's ok for me to switch. So which one would be best for my skin? ThanksWhich acne treatment would be best for me?
sometimes your overtreating your skin with medications i used 2 do that i started just using a normal antibacterial bar of soap (orange dial) and persagel by clean and clear at night when i broke out and it got way better.Which acne treatment would be best for me?
I would recommend clean and clear - very effective and can help normally very quickly.
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.
Proactive has worked really well for a lot of people I know.
OTC stuff has NEVER worked for me so i would stop trying. i've tried clean and clear, and proactve and i've seen no results. i've tried almost anything you can find at like walmart and nothing has worked. now i'm on three different medinces that have been prescribed by the dermatologist, i have been on them for only one week and i see results already. the medicine that i am on is, clindamycin phosphate topical solution , tretinoin cream, and doryx and they all work great!

  • Good acne treatment for a woman in late 20's?

After my 3rd child, being in my late 20s I'm having a major acne problem, never had this before, and I've tried pro-active, doesn't work just made it worse, dr wexler acne treatments were ok, not too happy with it, now I'm taking care of my face with the Aveeno treatments and it's getting worse!! Help! Does any one experienced this? Do you currently use a product that's actually helping heal ur face? Thank you in advance for ur answers!!Good acne treatment for a woman in late 20's?
putting half a lemon in the freezer helps. before going to bed rub it all over your skin and wash it in the morning. lemon juice fades any scars too. u can try different fruits-eg-cucumber..tomato...plain ice also shrinks pores. lemon idea is very effective. using egg white also stops acne when left for 30 min on ur faceGood acne treatment for a woman in late 20's?
Actually, I would go get your estrogen and testosterones levels checked. Having an outbreak of acne like that is a sign that something has changed chemically in your body. GO see a Doc and ask his or her advice, be sure to tell them it hasn't always bee like this and they will probably know what to do. Otherwise I would say eat more veggies, less fatty foods. Get a Lufa sponge er however that's spelled. use a soft scrubbing soap...but you really need to quit abusing your face with those chemicals.
well you could use the most powerful acne medicine on the market. it is called Accutane. it contains isotretinoin and is extremely effective when getting rid of acne. I started it last February and stopped in July and my acne is still gone. However, because you are a female it will be more difficult for you to take this because of the side effects.
well probable need to switch to something else .Try clear.now

you need to go to a dermatologist and get some medicine. if at home stuff isnt working you need something stronger.
Acnefree system works well for adult acne. Their pimple peel pack works great too. I heard Murad works on people who have acne after pregnacy, but then again everyone's skin is different.

I'm sure if you go to dermatologist, they can perscribe you something to help elevate the flareups and worsening skin.
you should probably try clearasil ultra it does work well for me but try it had the same problem but im only 16 and i was breaking out bad so I used it and it worked so try it hope i helped
Acne is one of the most distressing and depressing problem. Soak cotton wool in mint juice, and apply every day. Mix cinnamon powder with lime juice to make a fine paste, Apply on the spots and wash when dry .Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.
ive had the exact same problem this year!!! everything i tried to get rid of my acne made it worse but i discovered an amasing gloop called Sudocrem. its an antiseptic healing cream for ezema, rash, cuts, burns AND ACNE!!! it really works you put it all over your spotty bits before you go to bed and inthe morning you look like a new person!!! its amasing stuff and pretty cheapr at 拢2 for 125 grams!!! it feels nice to put on and smells pretty good too!!

    keep moisterising

    clean pillow every night

    get plenty of sleep

    drink lots of water

avoid chocolate, fried food or sugary food

hope this helps it helped me!!!

What is a safe, maybe natural, treatment for my acne and being around my 7-month-old?

I am worried I will my son will put his mouth on my face or put his hands on my face and then in his mouth after I have used the Proactiv or something and it will make him sick! What is safe and is there anything natural that really works for acne? What is a safe, maybe natural, treatment for my acne and being around my 7-month-old?
I doubt that would happen - Keep in mind it takes only a few moments to absorb in to your skin -

If you feel uneasy use Berts Bee products. I am not sure they will work as well for you - and no real 'at home' remedies are strong enough for acne. What is a safe, maybe natural, treatment for my acne and being around my 7-month-old?
Maybe u can review these natural acne products.

Treatment for newborn acne for a 2 month old?

What is the best and safest treatment for newborn acne? I am not scrubbing or using harsh abrasives, just warm water and a wash cloth.Treatment for newborn acne for a 2 month old?
From what I read that is the best thing to do... and dont pick at it... just makes it worse.. it will go away on its own.Treatment for newborn acne for a 2 month old?
It's hormonal and natural for your newborn to get a breakout. There is not much you can do except cleanse your baby's face gently with a wash cloth and warm water as you described (no soap or baby wash). It will go away on it's own in a few weeks. If you are concerned, call your nurse or baby's pediatrician. Congratulations on your healthy baby!
I know it sounds way gross but really, the baby's own urine will help clear the acne. Remember the saying ';Smooth as a baby's butt';? Yep it will help you get to the bottom of this. Pun intended. Wipe baby's face and any other affected area with urine diaper wait a few minutes and then wash.

My grandmother used this on my uncle who had eczema as a baby and it worked! The properties of urine are exfoliating. Truthfully some adults use this method as well to keep a youthful appearance to their face.

Good Luck to you and your little one.
I've heard that breastmilk will help - just rub a bit onto the affected areas a few times a day.
Nothing... it is a hormonal thing- your hormones are still passing through your babies body. This will all clear up on its own. Just use warm water and washcloth/cotton balls. No soap or lotions are necessary.
My doc suggested washing his with Cetafil. It's a non-soap cleanser.
    Just leave it.
Time is the best treatment. Nothing else. It's a normal thing that will go away on it's own, trying to get to get rid of it will only make it worse.
nothing!! leave it alone it will go away.
Nothing-it will resolve itself in a month or so. My daughter had it awful-it was all over her face. But it's all cleared up now and she's 10 months. It started going away around 3 months.
warm water+ wash cloth is probably the best thing. I wouldn't use any creams or anything.

Wait. Hydrocortozone...I'm not sure if that's ok for babies. But it might be a good thing. I'd ask a doctor.
